I can't access the desktop settings to enable the autosaving of screenshots on Windows

when I downloaded dropbox onto my laptop, it prompted me to enable auto saving screenshots as jpeg, which has been quite helpful.

however, I have not been able to enable that option on my pc, I can't access the settings, dropbox has a very useless article on how to enable this, but like I said, it is useless and full of wrong info,

I can't open the "dropbox desktop app" in order to access the settings.

Hi @Pwheilldiipng, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Is the Dropbox desktop application running? Are you able to see the Dropbox icon in the system tray near the clock?

From there, you'll be able to access the preferences to enable the screenshot option.

Could you try reinstalling the Dropbox desktop application without uninstalling it first by using this link?
