Hi,
On macOS Sequoia 15.1.1, the following menu on folder : "make available offline" (my translation from french) is not working. I would have to select it on each file to get it available offline.
Do you experience the same issue ?
Hi @nipnip - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Can you please clarify the version and status of the Dropbox desktop app as shown in your menu bar?
Also, does this happen with a particular folder of yours or all? Does it persist after rebooting your computer and/or quitting and relaunching the Dropbox desktop app?
Any additional information or screenshots are more than welcome!
Hi Walter,
I am using v214.4.5217. It happens for every folder (with right-click), still after reboot and relaunch.
Hey @nipnip, can you send us a screenshot of the right-click options you see on a folder level and a screenshot of the options you see on a file level?
Hey Hannah,
I wish I could, but none of the format files I tried : PNG, JPG, HEIC, TIFF was accepted. How can I do ?
Hmm, perhaps the image is too large; can you add them to your Dropbox and send us a shared link instead?
I can see that my former answer does not appear. Here is the link again with the screenshots : https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/lvk4o8s0d0la1yyxg67ay/AEu9IH11kHLu-OtUz1W43sM?rlkey=5iqmogme58dzwdyrecoc21viu&dl=0
Hi @nipnip, when did you first notice this behavior?
Also, if you try to select all the content inside a folder (Command-A), and right-click on one of the selected items, do you have the option to make files available offline? Since we can't open the link on our end (it seems that it has restricted access or settings) can you clarify that you're actually clicking on the folder you want to make available offline? If you have the time, please make sure you're using these steps when creating the link. Can we reach out via e-mail if need be to take a closer look into this?
Hi Megan,
I am afraid it has always been like that.
I do have the option when selecting all, but it will not be efficient. I have to open a file to get it downloaded...
You can use e-mail to go further, thank you.
Thanks, @nipnip, happy new year!
I just emailed you, so we'll continue there.
