i recently was put on my works drop box account, files dont seem to be syncing. i made edits to files on word and saved on my computer but when the other staff opened the same files the changes were not made.

Are you saving these files in the Dropbox folder on your computer? If so, is the Dropbox application running? You should see a Dropbox icon in your system tray (Windows) or menu bar (Mac) while it's running.
If the file is saved in your Dropbox folder and the application is running, sign in to your account on the Dropbox website and see if the file appears in your account.
