I keep seeing an hourglass when clicking on the Dropbox icon on Win11 and nothing happens

When I click on the dropbox icon in the tray at the bottom of the screen, an hourglass appears for about 5 seconds, and then - nothing. same for clicking the icon in the start menu.

Can you upload a screenshot of the hourglass you mention?

If you hover over the Dropbox icon instead, can you see its app version?

Did you try going to your applications and uninstalled the app? And reinstall by clicking this link: www.dropbox.com/install
