All of a sudden Dropox does not sync anything anymore, it is not clear neither the why nor the what (you have to do to make it work again)...Any help please?
After many unsynced days I tried to log out; after the login, DB started to indexing thousaunds of files and finally started to sync again. Strange, very annoying, but true.

Let's start with some basics here, such as your OS, and when did this start happening?
Do you run a stable connection on your end, and are you running any antivirus, firewall, VPN or proxy that could be causing issues?
