"Could not start Dropbox - this may be a temporary error" on macOS 12.7.4

My mac (running Monterrey 12.7.4) shutdown after realizing it was not conected to the outlet. Upon restart Dropbox shows an error message "Could not start Dropbox This may be a temporary error. Please restar DropBox" it also provides an error link which I saved.

I tried restarting computer with same result. Erased app and download again with same result. Also looked for second Dropbox App under Library but was not there. Please help.

In that case, can you try a more advanced reinstall of the Dropbox app, to see if that helps?

Can you send me a screenshot of the error you’re getting?

Also, the link that you mention, does it contain an error log? If yes, please post it here as well.

Thanks for your screenshot, @aangulo99! If there’s any personal info showing in the error log (like a username that contains your full name), feel free to mask it before posting it here.

I have posted the error log three times but the post is not showing.

Hey @aangulo99, thanks for the error log.

I believe you should be able to see your message now.

I can see that you edited out the usernames from the error log, right?

If you do a CTRL+F on the error log and search for the word "users", do you see the same username everywhere, or do you see two different ones?

I did the CTRL(F) and in every instant that my name user is listed, is the same one. There are no users sections that contain a different user than mine. Hope this helps.

It appears to be working now after the advance reinstall. Syncing now. Hope all is good at the end. Will keep you posted.
