keep getting error message when uploading an mp3
your app works and was brilliantly suggested. You for sure have issues with the desktop version. Hope you get that fixed. It obviously is not my internet since the app worked fine

You need to provide more information before anyone will know how best to assist you.
What is the error message that you're getting? How are you uploading the file? What platform are you using? What operating system? What steps, exactly, are you taking to upload the file? etc.
say uploads paused internet unstable. NO issue with the internet..
can you fix this asap? please

There is no issue with Dropbox at the moment or this place would be overran with people posting and the Status page would have notifications on it.
If you are getting upload errors something is failing between you and Dropbox. My guess is your connection is unsteady or unreliable.
If you are on WiFi try a different one, or, wired.
I did try another person's and still same issue
Unless you are using a totally different internet the issues will almost certainly be the same
it is totally different internet
this issue was reported last year.. I saw it with a bunch of people can you please check and see what is going on
yes.. I tried all the suggestions. private, clear cache, used a different browser.. etc nothing
please care to help fix it
Hey @angelsmessenger, let's jump right into this!
As Mark mentioned, we don't have similar reports at the moment, so this could be an individual issue.
In any case, would you be able to try uploading content to your account, using your Dropbox mobile app (if you have it installed) or a browser on a different device?
Also, which one is your main browser and which version of the browser are you using?
Let me know more!
thanks for caring to help I did upload it to the dropbox app on the desktop did I do that wrong? it didn't show up on the dropbox yet did on my computer
using google chrome 122.0.6261.112 (Official Build) (64-bit)
and firefox latest version 122.0.6261.112 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Google chrome 122.0.6261.112 (Official Build) (64-bit)
I did upload it to my desktop and it shows in my files yet not on the dropbox did I do it wrong?
Hi @angelsmessenger, thanks for the update!
Glad to see it worked smoothly when using the desktop app.
I'd personally suggest that you restore your browser to its default settings and disable any browser plugins. The issue you're experiencing may be the result of a security setting or a plugin that you have installed on your browser.
If however, you wish to have a closer look into this, we can always continue troubleshooting, I'd be happy to help!
appreciate the care and love. since this issue occurred last year with many.. could it be on your end?
this is what I currently have as extensions. I do use on google chrome.. yet both firefox and chrome gave the same issue. So not getting browser issue unless I am not understanding since both had the issue
Do you get the error when trying to upload this specific .mp3 file, or with every file you try to upload @angelsmessenger?
I got the error when uploading one of the mp3 I tried it both on google chrome and then on firefox on my desktop
Hey @angelsmessenger, can you test this with other files, to see if they give you an issue too?
And regarding the extensions, I would suggest disabling them, to see if that fixes the issue.
If it does, try re-enabling them one at a time, until you're not able to upload the file, to see which one is causing the issue.
I don't have them on firefox when I attempted to do it there and it gave same error. I will see about another file upload
I attempted to upload 4 minute and it did the same thing
did it with extensions off and it did it again 3/4 of the way complete with a 4 minute upload.. it just doesn't like desktop uploading hahahah

As you are only person reporting it (unlike last year when lots, and lots, and lots did), no it isnt a Dropbox issue unfortunately.
Its almost certainly something linked to the profile/setup you are using.
Do you have anything like Little Snitch on your machine? That is known to cause issues.
no
I am grateful I was able to upload it on the App on my ipad.. so that is something
