The syncing is disabled due to an error

My dropbox app on Mac(MacOS Ventura 13.4.1) cannot sync any file; I tried the following solutions:

1. Restart the Mac, cannot work;

2. Uninstall the Dropbox and install the latest version, cannot work;

3. Quit the Dropbox, cannot work.

It just showed on the Finder(Dropbox):"syncing is disabled due to an error".

I don't know what else I can do to fix it.

Can anyone help with it?

Can you please send us a screenshot of the exact error you're getting so that we can have a visual too?

Also, what's the status and version of the Dropbox desktop app as shown in your menu bar?

it is weird, it happened again and I cannot download and install the new dropbox app....

Everytime I download the new app, it runs normally, but after few days, the error happens again. Same this time. I will wait and see what will happen in the following days.

Hi,

I re-download the app, and set most of the folder online only, now the same error is not showing again (at least currently...)

The screenshot is same as I shared before, hopefully it would not exist again..

I am having this issue as well. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, was able to force it to resync by marking for offline availablility on each folder then each file individually (wouldn't process when selected as a group and wouldn't inherit folder settings). No option to sync manually, no indication what the error is or how to resolve it, just a half grey message saying basically "Sorry, our product doesn't work," followed by "care to upgrade?" in the app. Screenshot 2023-12-11 at 5.07.12 PM.png

Can you please send us a screenshot of the app's exact status and version as shown in your menu bar?

Also, what is your computer's OS version? Did you reboot since you first noticed this?
