hello, I have from time to time recordings in phone that I would like to be backed-up automatically like the photos
any idea how to do it?
otherwise I have everytime to copy it manually from phone to the storage in cloud.

Dropbox doesn't have a feature to automatically backup anything on your phone other than photos and videos. You'll either need to upload the recordings manually, or find a third-party backup app that works with Dropbox for storage.

I think it could be nice to have option to select a folder on phone to sync.
