what gives
mp3 files approx 45mb in size, have alot of them, tried doing them in tiny batches everytime i get a prompt "file type not supported" its an .mp3 file , ive uploaded thousands of them, never an issue please help

Are you uploading the file to your own account, or using a file request to another account?
Do you have the Dropbox desktop application installed? Are you able to move the mp3 file into your Dropbox folder to sync to the site?
This will help me to assist further!
I have the desktop installed yes. But I always prefer to use the Online one.
I could try it that way I guess and see if it works, ive never had an issue before
