Dropbox is creating files in my folders

These 0KB files just keep appearing in my folders. Any reason why? How do I/you stop this please?

Dropbox doesn't (and can't) create files on its own like that. Something on one of your devices must be doing it. Look at the version history for one of the files to determine which device is creating them, then start your search there to see what could be doing it.
