I would appreciate some help - particularly from a Dropbox user who is also using Cryptomator to encrypt and hide their files stored on Dropbox.
I am using Cryptomator (on a Mac) to encrypt and hide my files that are stored on Dropbox. None of these files are downloadable (or even visible) on Dropbox via the web or via the Dropbox app on my computer - unless I access the files through the Cryptomator app. It works perfectly.
However, I find that Dropbox is also storing a backup of my Desktop UNENCRYPTED enabling all of the files to be visible and downloadable. I like the feature that Dropbox maintains this backup of my desktop. But, I don't want my files visible and downloadable. Is there a way that Cryptomator could interface with Dropbox to maintain this additional level of security with my Dropbox Backup?
Thank you, Dale
