I am working with Linux Mint 21.1 the latest version. Dropbox keeps syncing all day for me. This is not necessary for me. 1 time on the while starting the computer is enough for me. Can I also set this so that Dropbox only syncs once a day?
Hi @Henky, thanks for posting on our Community.
At the moment, it isn’t possible to have the desktop app sync to your web account at a specific time during the day.
If you want though, I can pass your feedback about this to our team, so that they can take this into account in the future.
If you need something else, give me a nudge!
Hi.
Has this been addressed yet? I'm surprised this hasn't been a setting before. I'm in a scenario where I'm recording large media files and simultaneously on Zoom and/or some other connection solution. And unfortunately, I'm in an area where internet upload speeds aren't real consistent. Unless I remember to pause syncing every time I have a session, DropBox syncing hogs up necessary bandwidth, causing big communication problems. It would be great to set it up to sync hourly, daily, weekly, etc, kind of like Time Machine. It would have saved me some big client embarrassment today.
Thanks!
Chris
