With my previous PC Backups, there will be a shortcut to that backup folder in the my files section of the dropbox. But, with this new PC backup that I did, I can't find that shortcut. How to get that shortcut on the home page?
Hi @gijo, not seeing your Backup content in the home page for your third-party apps, seems expected due to some latest changes.
Keep in mind that, the link to your Backup that was in your files page was removed. It should now be accessible via the link Jay provided earlier, and for your mobile, it should be under the account tab, that should re-direct you to the backup page.
I hope this clarifies!
Hi @gijo, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
You should be able to locate the backup on this page.
If you need any further assistance, please let me know!
But I can't access that backup if I log in to dropbox on adobe reader(android) or some other file manager. Earlier it was accessible, now I have to go to this dropbox backup page to access that backup. Earlier I could open up a backed-up document from my PC straight in the adobe reader android app. Now I can't do that, as this backup is not listed there.
Hi @gijo, could you send me a couple of screenshots, of what you see when you try to view your Backups using your respective file manager?
Also, just to make sure we're on the same page, it seems you are able to view your backup when visiting your Dropbox account on your mobile app, right?
Cant find my PC backup here-Adobe ReaderOfficial Dropbox app
Can't find the PC backup in both adobe reader or dropbox's official app. Unlike this, I was able to access the PC backup from these apps with my previous PC Backup.
