Files in cloud, but I also want them on PC and to sync continuously

Hi all. Had things working great with my old computer! All my files we on my PC and backed up and synced to the cloud, which is what I wanted. Now with my new computer, the files are still in the cloud buy not on my PC. I'd like to download all my drop box files to my PC so they're in both places and set it up so that changes / additions sync automatically. Pretty basic stuff, but I'm an old guy and could use some direction! Thanks.

That isnt the folder. That is a shortcut to it.

You need to go to the actual folder (so it shows on the right hand side of the screen) and then right click etc.

Hey @emh1951, thanks for posting to the Dropbox Community!

If all your files are online-only on your new computer, what you can do to sync them all down at once, is to right click on the Dropbox folder itself, and choose "make available offline".

Or you can do that for individual folders and files, if you don't want some of them to take up your hard drive space.

Thanks for assistance. When I right click the dropbox folder in file explorer, I don’t see “make available offline.”

Via Windows Explorer to wherever you have saved the Directory - so probably something like \Users\You Name\Dropbox.
