Just to clarify, can you walk me through the exact steps you take when you notice this happen @HappyCake?
For example, you're trying to open your Dropbox folder or are you clicking on the app's icon in your system tray to navigate your files etc.?

Here's a better shot, Walter. This popup on the right appears whenever I open Dropbox. This is new. Just started a few days ago. I would love for it to stop. Just open my Dropbox. I don't need this navigation tool. :-0)
Can you click on your avatar and then quit the app and relaunch it afterwards to see if it makes any difference @HappyCake?
I'm only asking because this should be visible only when you click on the Dropbox icon in your menu bar/system tray to access the Dropbox desktop app's preferences, menu, activity tab etc.
Ok. I just quit the app and relaunched and it still popped up.
Thank you Walter! I open my Dropbox through a shortcut I have in my start menu.
And it opens showing all my folders. And I've never gotten this navigation pane on the right hand side before.
But after looking at the link you gave me and doing a little bit of research here I realize that that thing probably should come up anytime anybody opens their Dropbox.
So even though I find it annoying, I now realize that maybe it's a good thing to have access to.
It's just never done it before so I didn't realize I might need it and I guess I probably should leave it the way it is.
Your thoughts?
Oh, and to fully answer your question, the app’s icon is in my system tray only when I have Dropbox open.
So again, I click on a shortcut and Dropbox opens and all I see are my folders.
This has always worked perfectly for me and now this thing that I'm finding annoying, I'm realizing, maybe it should be there and I just click out of it and move on.
You know what they say? You don't know what you don't know right? LOL
