Is there a way for a new file to be available offline when that's the status of the folder?

Question

Every time I add a new file to a folder that has already been made "available offline," there is a cloud icon indicating that the folder is not fully available offline. Assuming this means the new file is not fully in sync. Is there a way for a new file to be automatically available offline when it's put into a folder that is already available offline, without having to click on the cloud icon?

Thank you for your response.

I'm using a MacBook with OS 26.5.1 (25F80). I have a shortcut to Dropbox on my desktop (see screenshot), and I drop files into folders in that shortcut. I noticed that there are cloud icons (see other screenshot) that I need to click on to ensure the new files are available offline. It was my understanding that when new items are put into folders already available offline, the new items would be available by default. If this is the case, can you let me know what I'm doing incorrectly?

Do you upload your files directly through the desktop app, or our website? Also, what is the OS you're using on your end, and where is your Dropbox folder currently located on your machine?

Provided you're using a Mac device please have a look here, but if you're on Windows you can also take a look at this relevant Help Center article.
