Issues with setting up the Dropbox desktop app on another computer

I have Prof Dropbox on my main PC. I want to add to another PC. On main PC I get to  download the App. I use this to download on other PC using my details. It just installs a new copy, not my setup.  I have tried help, but it  just takes me in circles and I never get to talk or chat with a person to help

Hi there @BarryHWhite - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.

At first, can you clarify what you mean by 'Prof Dropbox' on your main PC? Are you referring to the Dropbox Professional plan perhaps?

As for installing the Dropbox desktop app on a new computer, you'd simply need to download the installer, run it and make sure to log into the same Dropbox account as your main PC.

Can you check the app's preferences on both devices under the Account tab and let me know if the email address is an exact match?
