How to change the .pdf name of the signed order form within the Dropbox for Salesforce integration?

Hello,

Our company works out of Salesforce CPQ, and we want the name of the signed order form pdf file that is sent back to be a specific format. Right now its just [our company name] Order Form. I want it to be [Client name] Order form [Date]. Is this possible?

I've already changed the document name in Salesforce, but it seems like the document name in Salesforce does not carry over to Dropbox, unfortunately.

I wanted to let you know that as of October 14, 2025 we've ended support for our integration with Salesforce, which you can read more about here.

However, I'd be happy to investigate this for you, so I'll check with our team and get back to you, once I have more info.

I spent a bit of time looking into this for you, unfortunately with Dropbox for Salesforce reaching the end of its support period, active development or configuration changes for that integration are no longer available. I wasn't able to find a way to adjust how the file name is generated.

The integration might still work for a while, but it will not be maintained or guaranteed to keep working reliably. Your Dropbox files will stay safe, but the Salesforce connection will no longer be supported.
