Large downloads from shared content always fail at 70 % without a reason.

Hi friends,

Seldom Dropbox user here, however many of my clients often share their files via this platform.

I've noticed that more often than not, large video files (10GB+) will fail without reason, usually when 70%ish complete.

I currently have an urgent task that requires a 22GB file to be downloaded. I've tried dozens of times on multiple devices, browsers, networks, wifi, 5G , 4G, Starlink, you name it.

I've even begun a trial with Dropbox as a last resort measure, but still no dice.

Can anyone tell me what's going on?

How are these files shared with you? Is it through a shared link, shared folder, or file transfer?

Since you've tried some troubleshooting steps already like switching between different browsers, and networks let's try something different. You mentioned that you've started a trial for a Dropbox subscription. Do you still use it? 

If that's the case, can you try saving the file to your Dropbox account first, and then see if you can download it from there?
