Are "Team Paper Docs" related to the new release of Dropbox Paper?

Hello! Long, long time Dropbox user, first time community poster. We noticed that a new "Team Paper Docs" folder appeared at the top level of our Dropbox team folder, in the middle of the night when nobody works.

Looking at the forum, I'm guessing it's similar to the people who have seen "Migrated Paper Docs" folders appearing (like this post: https://www.dropboxforum.com/discussions/101001017/unknown-folder-appearing-migrated-paper-docs/805075). None of our team uses Paper, but it's possible someone added a Paper file to a particular client folder in 2020/2021 but since deleted it. (the one folder inside "Team Paper Docs" DOES correlate to a project folder)

In short, if this folder appearance is part of the long-standing Paper2020 update I've read about and this is normal, I would just like to confirm! While I'm not opposed to account password updates, I just want to ensure this isn't likely the result of a user's account being compromised or something.

Hey @Agility-LA! Thanks for posting this on our forum and welcome aboard.

It sounds like this is a result of your Dropbox team migrating over to the new release of Dropbox Paper indeed.

Paper documents that teams generally own are being moved inside the “Team Paper Docs" folder and from there, they can be moved to other locations on your Dropbox account (you can also see info on this here).

Hi, So how do we get rid of this new folder we don't want? It looks like 4 other documents were shared to someone at the same time, from my assistant's account, and we can't get rid of this folder - it says we have no admin control.

Hey @Leslie17 - while this shouldn't be an issue for the account owner, can you please send us a screenshot of the exact error you're getting so that we can have a visual too?

As an Admin I can't move or create new folders under the "Team Paper Docs" in our Dropbox account. I am so fed up! We just got switched to the new version last night and no Paper is completely and utterly useless. They've completely bricked this product for us. It was PERFECT, no other software or website does what Paper does (or did) and now its terrible!
