Child Item

The most recently edited file won't sync on my macOS Sequoia 15.3.2 desktop app.

For the past few weeks, I've very frequently encountered an issue where the most recently edited file won’t sync. The only way to resolve this is to move the file out of Dropbox and then return it to its original location.

Strangely, when I move the file out of Dropbox, an older version of the same file appears. I then have to overwrite the old version with the most recent file that wasn’t syncing.

I'm using MacOS Sequoia 15.3.2, and my Dropbox desktop app is version v220.4.4126.

Out of interest is the file / application still open?

Regardless of whether the file/application is open, it often won't sync.

Hey @David Hwang! To make sure I got this right, you edit the file locally on your computer, and the Dropbox app doesn’t sync your updates to the web. Correct?

Is this happening with a specific type of files or with any file you edit nonetheless?
