I purchased a new laptop and my files are not syncing. They are still showing on a ipad that I use but not on the new laptop. How do I resolve this?

Are you sure that you're signed in to the same account on both devices? Check the email address shown in Preferences on the laptop and Settings on the iPad. If they're not the same, you're signed in to two different accounts.
Yes, the same sign in is on both laptop and ipad.

If you’re missing entire folders from your computer, can you have a look at your selective sync settings to make sure they’re not unchecked?
