I have two laptops running Windows 10. On each system I have 8 top-level folders in Dropbox, of which F1-F6 I've set to "Make available offline" and F7-F8 "Make online-only".
I've recently acquired a third laptop running Windows 10. On setting up Dropbox on this new laptop I got an unexpected prompt along the lines of "You'll need X GB to synchronize all your folders; click any folders you don't wish to synchronize" (I can't remember the exact wording).
Thinking (incorrectly, as I realized later) that this was equivalent to making the selected folders online-only, I selected F7 and F8 to be excluded from synchronization. Unfortunately (though undoubtedly by design 😀) this resulted in just F1-F6 appearing in Windows Explorer under Dropbox, as F7 and F8 have disappeared from Dropbox on this laptop.
The problem now is that I have no idea how to restore the missing folders F7 and F8 to the Dropbox folder. I haven't found anything that seems to do what I want nor can I see how I can safely undo my existing Dropbox setup on this laptop and start again from scratch, and I'm reluctant to experiment too much in case I end up making the situation worse.
Can someone please advise if there is a way to do this?
