How do I stop Dropbox from syncing on my computer?

Everytime I start my computer even from sleep DropBox seems to spin up with the wheel turning. Is this synching? It takes for-ever and when I try to access a thumb drive simultaneously it’s even longer. How do i stop DropBox from Synching(?) I guess; and just let me up load when I want to store something. Thankyou!

Dropbox is syncing and indexing the files. If you dont want it to do that (note you may then end up with out of date files) you should just disable it from auto starting up.
