Sometime ago, I set my Dropbox preferences such that everything is "available off-line" I want this arrangement because I deliberately purchased a new MacBook with plenty of storage space so I want everything always available regardless of Internet connections.
Within one example folder, I am examining its contents and I get a mix of the following icon indicators, which in my mind should all be uniform as in… ‘green circle with white check’ because I want everything available off-line. That appears to be generally true with all the standalone files within this example folder however nested folders are generally the white circle with the green checkbox. This brings me to the DB icon definition page and looking under the folder column where the explanations for the two icons strike me as being two ways of saying the same thing, In the first everything's available off-line, in the second* saying that there are “no online only files” is that not another way of saying that everything is local and available off-line? Can someone explain this to me?.
Green Circle with white check icon = “For folders, this icon means all files in the folder are available offline.”
*White circle with green checkbox icon = “…but no online-only files…”
Thanks,
Paul
