Upload file by providing url that links to it

Question

If I receive a a email with a link to download a file from some remote location, can I use that link to ask DropBox to retrieve the file?

Even better, can I just forward the email to Dropbox?

Yes. MultCloud has this feature—it wasn’t my own idea. But, of course, the transfer goes against your MultCloud bandwidth.

Currently, there isn't a method to directly access a link to then upload it to Dropbox. There may be some third party apps or services that can perform this to then upload it to Dropbox.

Yes, I’ve used that and it’s good.

But if the email has a download link into of an attachment. I would like to supply that link to Dropbox so I can skip the download and upload to Dropbox.
