No progress/percentage bar for syncing files on the desktop app

Hello,

I am using the desktop version of Dropbox on a Macbook Pro. I have been syncing files from my external hard drive into the Dropbox app. Nowhere does it show me the progress of how much has been uploaded, and how much time/ percentage is left. It's been 7 days-- and it's literally still going. I can see the cloud and blue icons next to files indicating their status on Dropbox, but I have NO idea how much more time this needs. Am I missing something? I just want to be able to see a percentage bar of how much has been uploaded/ how much is left. Please share your input

Hey Hannah, thanks for your response.

Here is what I see when I click the Dropbox icon at the top. The time fluctuates non stop-- it sometimes 24hours or more. (it's been over a week and I havent finished uploading-- but thats something we can discuss after you help me with figuring out if theres a way to see how much has been uploaded and how much is left).

Nothing happens when I hover over the Sync text at the bottom.

Can you please click on the Dropbox icon in your menu bar and send us a screenshot of how the window appears?

Also, what do you see when you hover over the icon (sync status/app version)?

Let me know and we'll go from there.
