I have an internal Netatmo Camera. As soon as Dropbox has accepted me the page is empty with the only name Dropbox on top. No recording is possible.
Did someone succeed?
Thanks
Hi @AlainStrasbourg, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Could you clarify exactly what you're referring to and what you're currently experiencing?
Any other info or screenshots would be helpful!
Hi, here is the sequence I obtain on my smartphone when trying to have netatmo camera accepted by dropbox. I tryed several times and my connexion with optical fiber is excellent.
Thanks, I've removed two images for your own privacy.
Could you try disconnecting from WiFi and using cellular data to see if this helps with connecting the app to Dropbox?
Thanks to take care of my issue. With cellular the symptom is exactely the same.
"Impossible to connect to server. This could be due to a bad connection." And this page doesn't appear for long; only when I push the button to go back from the screen with the only word dropbox on top. I must use my camera to get it. The remaining image is just the word dropbox on a blank page
It's possible that the app can't connect to the Dropbox server for some reason to finalize the connection.
Have you tried contacting the developer of the app for further assistance on this matter?
The developper is Netatmo which I questionned today by mail. I wait for their answer. Meanwhile, on their documentation they say that if Dropbox doesn't work this is not their responsibility!!! So I ask you.

It actually is their responsibility. Dropbox provides access to the API for third parties to develop applications that connect to Dropbox, but it's up to those third parties to support their own application and the connection back to Dropbox. Dropbox wouldn't have access to anything related to the Netatmo application to be able to provide support for it.
If you look back to this post in April, there was a similar issue that required an updated version of the Netatmo application.
Was this ever resolved? I am having the same issue, except I get a completely blank screen. I have 2 cameras - one works perfectly fine, the other one has this issue.

Check to make sure both cameras are running the same firmware. Beyond that, you'll need to contact the manufacturer. Dropbox cannot provide support for third-party hardware, applications or services.
