Sync issues with Mac OS X folder migrate

Question

After I migrated to the Mac OS X Library/Cloud Storage I am having continous sync problems

I don't like the online files mode, I just want the folders I select to be always available offline. But files will not download, and it's always stuck in Syncing mode.

I have given full disk access to dropbox and no fix.

I have then upgraded from 13.0 to 14.0 Sonoma

Which seems to have fix the issue, or a combination of things that fixes the issue but caused other problems:

- syncing files continuisly, saying that I have edited some files which I have not
- symlinks are marked as conflicts ??
- syncs generally slow

What is up with this ? I have not had problems with Dropbox before the migrate folder and now it's not stable for some time now.

it's really bad - it keeps syncing and saying up to date

then syncing again

then maybe at random it started reindexing all 200 000 files

It just said syncing for weeks on Ventura 13.0 - stuck

After upgrade to Sonoma 14.0 seems to have fixed it
