Can I sync my Photos Library with Dropbox?

Hi Everyone, 

 

New Dropbox user here.  I have my Apple Photos library on an external drive, which is backed up to iCloud.  Everything syncs between my iPhone and Photos library (on iPhone and desktop) perfectly.  Can I store/synch with Dropbox in the same way, so I can stop paying for additional iCloud storage?

Hey @HelloThereEveryone, thanks for posting your question to the Dropbox Community.

 

Since Apple no longer allows the Photos Library to be synced over cloud-storage services, you won't be able to sync it to your Dropbox with the Dropbox for macOS app.

 

You can of course manually move the photos into Dropbox, to sync them, but it can't be done automatically.
