Change the password for Dropbox Passwords

Hi All,

I use the Dropbox Password manager to store all my passwords. I would like to change the overall password that I use ie. the master log in. But for some reason I can't find where to reset it? Anyone know?

1. Accounts - it's not here because this is the list of all the individual accounts you set passwords on

2. Security Dashboard - not here either. This shows how many devices etc are logged on

3. Preferences - not here either!

Anyone know?

Hi @miltoros, thanks for messaging the Community.

The Dropbox Passwords app at first uses the password for your Dropbox account, as it is linked to your account.

For subsequent logins, you'll need other devices to access a prompt to sign in with, or your recovery words.

Hi Jay,

Thanks for your response. I've been using the Passwords manager for about a year. I just want to change the password that it prompts me for each time I turn on the computer, not my main Dropbox password. Currently they are both different and I can't find anywhere that I go to that simply allows me to "Change password" (for the password manager).

Could you clarify what password you're being asked for? A screenshot showing this window or prompt would be helpful.
