It would be really amazing to be able to use Dropbox Paper as more of a planning tool in 2023.
Our needs are relatively simple. The timeline view is nice but it leaves much to be desired. Most notably, there are no basic kanban features. This really should be an alternate view for the timeline.
Key to a kanban is tags. In order for this feature to work well, you would need to be able to add tags to each item in the paper timeline. Right now you can write a description, pick a color, assign it to individuals, and check it off as done--not the same as moving it along a kanban board.
While it would be nice to be able to do even more dynamic work with this feature, like with Notion, it's better to start with this baby step. Right now that's the only thing we do on Notion that we can't do with Paper.
