Splitting a common shared dropbox between two drives of a computer

Question

The organization I work uses a business account of Dropbox.

My C drive is almost full and I need to shift a few of the dropbox folders in the D Drive.

I cannot do that using selective syncing as it will move all my folders to D Drive.

Is there a way I can keep a few folders in C drive and few folders in D Drive of my computer without disturbing the syncing and accessibility of other people as well?

Let me clear things up for you at this point when it comes to our Smart Sync and selective sync features! Read on for more info:

Smart Sync and Selective Sync enable users to choose which of their files and folders sync and take up space on their local device.

With Smart Sync, users can see and seamlessly access all the content they have in their Dropbox, right from their desktops, without worrying about local ****** drive space. Files and folders take up practically no space on the local device until they’re needed, and they can be accessed with a simple click.

Selective Sync lets users choose which content in their Dropbox is synced, but unsynced content is completely hidden on the local device. This can be useful if you know you will not need access to a folder from this specific device and want to free up ****** drive space.

Through the use of Smart Sync you are able to view everything in your Dropbox without overloading your ****** drive space - all the while having everything available online and accessible just like regular files.

Selective Sync can be set by a user directly on their Dropbox desktop application, removing the local copies of whichever folder the user chooses. The feature is available to Dropbox Basic, Plus, Professional, and Business users.

I am doing good. How are you? (Answering to your first question of your first reply :grin: )

As a matter of fact, I didn't use the option of smart syncing as I was afraid that it may result in deleting the data from all of my colleague's compuers if I make changes in my dropbox folder.

Actually I couldn't understand the difference between selective and smart syncing except that smart syncing allows to store information over web and is accessible from anywhere. But isn't this the cocept of One Drive?

May be I am not smart enough to understand SmartSync.

On a side note, as you mentioned that you're a part of a Dropbox for Business teams account, have you considered using Smart Sync instead @shubh003 ?
