We're glad to hear you are interested in our new project! Our team is currently in the process of experimenting with new features in order to build the best Paper experience for all our users. That said, let me briefly confirm what has already been mentioned above, as the Paper Desktop application is currently in a closed testing period & you'll definitely hear more about it once we open up the testing.

I’m afraid that since this is in closed beta that we’re not currently able to add users to this testing group. You’ll need to have been invited to test out the beta through an email communication and see the option shown in the OP’s screenshot from your Connected apps page.

That being said, we’ll ensure to update here when we have some more info about this!

You can also create a shortcut in Chrome or Brave. Click the right dot menu, more tools, create shortcut, open as window. This will open paper as an app and you can more the app to your applications folder or desktop or dock on mac.

Sadly, if you don't see this available on your new desktop app it means that it's not yet available to you (it's still in a closed beta phase).

Worry not though for you'll get plenty of email notifications once we roll it out to all of our users!

Hello, I was able to download the desktop app Paper on my MacBook Pro but would like to be able to open it as well on my Windows 10 PC, but can't find any link. Can you help me ?

When I open this page nothing happens, but if open a paper doc then i have a pop up button saying "open in the app". If i click on it, nothing happens. I noticed on my dropbox app that i add a notification saying "Paper is downloading and will open when it's complete" but it's been two days and nothing happened. It's not installed on my PC and the only way i can open my paper docs from my computer is by right-clicking on it, open with, choose dropbox, which opens a new tab on Chrome.
