I currently have 1Tb of space in my Dropbox to house a number of video files. I would like to move them to my iPad hard drive so that I can get by witha 2Gb Dropbox. How can I do this?
Hi @Jrby,
Can I then move the files to a folder elsewhere than Photos?
Where do you want to move? In iOS, you do not have true file structure, you can access a file via a supported app. In your Photos app all videos stay under the album Video. You can certainly save the videos in another supported app. Or you can just keep them in Photos, and organize them in new albums if you like, it is just like folders.
How can I move a whole folder to my iPad hard drive? I have many files and it would take hours to move all the files. Plus I want to refresh these files from my Windows computer every few weeks.
The new iPad Pro has file structure now. How can I move a folder of PDFs from the Dropbox app into the dedicated files app on the iPad Pro?
There is no Save Video option
Hey @getgealthyllc and peeps! Welcome to the Dropbox Community.
You should be able to export files to your mobile device's internal storage or to another app.
If the relevant options don't appear, could you send me a screenshot (without any personal info) of what you see?
Thanks!
@Lusil
Yep, I'm having the same problem.
i cant see a way to import the entire folder to my ipad.
thank you in advance.
Hi @Relievo; welcome to our Community and sorry for jumping in here.
Just to clarify, exporting a folder isn't available on our mobile app for iOS/iPadOS devices at this time.
That said, you may want to try the Files app to see if you get this option there.
I hope this helps!
