~Hi,
I try to connect my pocketbook to dropbox, but somehow I cannot click on the connect button on the website that i visit on my pocketbook.
Anybody know how to solve this?
Thanks

The same problem. Pocketbook 622.
What have you done with "sign"-button?
On a pocketbook touchlux 2, I can click on the button, but it works forever without moving to the next step
You'll need to contact PocketBook as it is their product. They're the ones that would have included the Dropbox functionality (via the Dropbox API). Dropbox cannot support third-party products.
Got the Same Problem
The same problem. Pocketbook Aqua
On my PB 622 as abowe. I contacted DB support, the answer was they changed log method and PB should apgrade and adapt reader-software. I contacted PB manufacturer, they answered, they are stil working to solve the problem but can not give the date when it
Same problem for the PocketBook 630 Sense.
Sending of a document to my @pbsync.com mailbox, arrives on the E-reader.
However my Gmail cannot send bigger attachements than 20MB (mostly for PDF files), so I need this dropbox connection.
Any solution found? I just bought the pb sense and i have the same issue as above...Thx
The same problem for about a week. PocketBook 623. Desperately need DB
The solution is to contact PocketBook. They're the only ones that can provide a solution to this.
I have a pocketbook aqua, and the same problem!!!
HELP!
No one here can help with this problem. YOU NEED TO CONTACT POCKETBOOK.
I had to reset my pocketbook inkPad and Dropbox sign in button is missing here as well. Has anyone could solve that issue? Any other way to bypass this button and sync DB to Pocketbook. I already updated to the last version. I contacted Pocketbook but I haven't received any reply so far.
Many thanks in advance.
I just received the following answer:
Dear Zoltan,
Our engineers are doing their best to solve the issue asap.In approximately 3-4 weeks the European software version with Dropbox fix will become available.
We apologize for the temporary inconvinience caused.Thank you for understanding!
Best regards,
@Zoltan: thank you very much for posting here; was this email from Pocketbook support?
Hi Adrian, yes the answer came from Pocketbook support team. I hope they keep their promise...
Would be amazing indeed. Some (most?) companies don't update old devices because they don't see the profit in it. Let's hope we have a responsible company this time!
I was informed in another (German-language) forum that older models like the 622 and 623 won't get a firmware update any more: http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=278759
This is exactly the kind of answer I feared.
Pessimistic scenario: the reply to Zoltan's email was based upon misunderstanding/misidentifiying the issue, as it often happens in this kind of communication. There won't be any firmware update and we are let behind by Pocketbook even though they are fully responsible for implementing the Dropbox API in a way that allows for software compatibility issue over time
Optimistic scenario: the reply to Jared was based upon internal miscommunication in the company, and we will soon get the beloved update.
I am using the app PocketBook (I assume that's what we're talking about) and I did some digging and found out what was wrong. Every time I clicked the "sync" button, it was like it wasn't regestering the click, so I went to Dropbox, then to Settings, to Security, and then scrolled down to the "linked apps" and found PocketBook in the list.
Apps linked
Looks like this.^^
Above each column are APP NAME, PUBLISHER, ACCESS TYPE
So I knew that PocketBook only has access to the App folder, so I went to find that folder.
It is in Files
So I went to Files
I had a similar issue where the pocketbook would not sync properly with dropbox. The issue was a file that hat several special characters in the filename. Renaming the file made the sync work perfectly. It was diffiult to bugfix because the Pocketbook error suggested it was a general network error (not connected to the internet) even though the wifi was working and the sync would actually start and abort after a while.
TLDR: Check your filenames and remove special characters from files you want to sync with your Pocketbook
