Why does the mobile app need to be open to download and upload files?
Hi all I noticed that the Dropbox Android app needs to be open to upload photos or download offline files. This can't be correct as it should be processed in the background without me having to open the app from time to time to process my files. Can someone please help? Regards Casper

How do notifications work for shared folders?
Trying to understand what actions result in user notifications. If I unshare a folder with a user, will the user be notified? How email, text msg, etc? What if I do not unshare the folder, but I change the user fdrom "edit" to "view"-- will there be any sort of notification? Thanks

Selective Sync not working and cannot open files

When uploading files, the date/time is added to the file name. How can I avoid this?
When uploading files entered name was added to the beginning of the file name. From today also uploaded date/time is added to the file name. Is it possible to avoid adding of date/time to the file name? Best regards Bengt-Ove

I have installed Dropbox on 2 Android tablets. Both can access shared folders. However, when I try and sync either of them I am asked if I want to set up Dropbox on a computer. When I press the SKIP link I am returned to the shared folders, no sync takes place. So basically I cannot sync. Help please!

How can I download my files with the original date they were created?
I moved from Samsung to iPhone and had to use Dropbox to move my pictures between devices.
