Dropbox shows that my files take up more space than they actually do on the desktop.
I align Dropbox with the computer. I see in the Dropbox folder two folders with dimensions 550 mega and 1 giga respectively. The Dropbox folder instead shows a size of 2.3 GB! What could be the problem?

I'm just about ready to wipe my 11 year old CPU. I've saved everthing to my Dropbox app and it appears everything (folders & files) I've spot checked are available when I log into my Dropbox Account on Chrome. Is everything in fact saved outside of my physical computer?
