Essentially the title, when I am searching for a document that someone has signed and submitted, I search their name, and it says there is a result, but it doesn't show me the result.

It sounds like you're using Dropbox Sign and you wish to locate your signed documents, but when searching for the name of the signer you have no results.
To find signed documents in Dropbox Sign, log in to your account at sign.dropbox.com, click Documents in the left sidebar, and filter by status to find "Signed" files. Can you try that, and let me know if you get any results?
Finally, could you try clearing your browser's cache or using an entirely different browser to see if you get different results?
