Do you have enough storage space to access it? Often it will fail if you don't. So if you have an account with only 500mb of free space and the share is 600mb, for example, it wont let you accept it.

Did you already have access to it, or, are you trying to access for the first time?

Annoyingly, no, there isn't. I've also discovered that if files hadn't fully uploaded before creating the transfer (i.e. you do it via Finder/Explorer while syncing) it wont sync everything.

Javier P.4 wrote:Can we see at least the number of downloads or a log with all the downloads (date, time) of that specific folder or file that was shared via a link? Dropbox does not have metrics like this I'm afraid. You can see some info at http://www.dropbox.com/events about when files were edited, or, if you've a…

Homer wrote:Is there a way to select everything in the camera roll to manually upload? No. If you want everything in your camera roll uploading I'd strongly suggest using Camera Upload - as that's what its designed and intended for. You can then always move them in to other folders after they've uploaded.

Totem Road wrote:Is there anything else I can try? Unfortunately not, once an account is in a locked state and you get the emails saying things will be removed that's permanent (as it says on the email). There is now no way, via Dropbox, to recover those files: https://help.dropbox.com/account-access/team-locked-state

Macros dont work if you open via the web, but, should if you open locally (i.e. via File Explorer). If they arent working via file explorer then the issue isn't Dropbox but something to do with Microsoft I'm afraid.

Can you navigate to the file via your Dropbox directory on your machine and open it that way?

Update: 8pm UK BST The status page says a fix has been implemented. --- There does currently seem to be a service issue impacting things based upon these posts. Hopefully it will be resolved soon. The Status Page is showing an identified issue so Dropbox are aware. Please do keep an eye on here and follow that for further…

jeffwsears wrote:Perhaps the share link takes the folder name at the time of original creation and doesn't change that Thats correct I'm afraid. Once a folder is created and links created it retains that original name. The same goes for Shared folders with edit rights. The only way to change it is either a new folder with…

Unfortunately its not recoverable then :( Dropbox changed how this worked a few years ago and now only 30 days of revisions are kept. So, if you edit a file on a Monday that hasn't been touched in 6 months and want to roll it back you cant as there isn't a previous version stored as the other version is 6 months old :( Any…

I agree with @"Rich" here. Ive never known simultaneous uploads be supported on the web. They are on a computer that you use Dropbox on (i.e. in to the folder on your machine) but not on web.

As long as you are using the same account on both you dont need to transfer them - it just happens. Thats the whole point of Dropbox - what is on one device is accessible on the other (note, however, they wont download to the iPad they'll just be on the app).

How did you upload them @"LaTay" ? Was it the website or using the desktop software? If its the desktop software they will have been moved from the hard drive in to the Dropbox folder. If it was the website they wont have been moved, so should still be on your HDD, but will have stopped uploading as soon as internet…

This post is two years old and when it was in beta. Since then that option has been removed and you can now only use certain folders. There is no way around this.

Sorry it wasnt answer you wanted, it is also probably worth mentioning that you can unsubscribe from all of the other emails via the links on the bottom of emails, or, via the Account menu option.
