What is http://www.dropbox.com/events showing? Does it match what is on your desktop folder if you open the \Dropbox directory?
-
You need to contact support via http://www.dropbox.com/get_help and explain whats happened and provide information such as the card transaction ID if you have it from your payment info.

CJAPA wrote:I have had a folder deleted by Dropbox. How long ago was it removed and did you get emails warning you? Dropbox only deletes data if you are over quota OR the linked account is over quota (i.e. its a shared folder). They do warn this is happening and if it does happen the deletion is, as emails say, permanent.…

Hi @"longball75" Its probably worth looking as well as how you can recover it elsewhere because Dropbox often wont remove 2FA on an account. Most recently here. If you have it set up you should be able to use the recovery codes given when setting it up to get around it. If its actually the email confirmation to log on and…

melanie75058 wrote:If my payments stopped for some reason can I catch back up and get files recovered? No sorry :( Once they are gone its permanent. You do get lots of emails warning you about this - have you checked your email inbox for them? Also, just check you are logged in to the right account. Its very common that…

joseehosee wrote:Does Dropbox delete the original photos from the gallery when uploading them? No it doesnt. Its a very, very common complaint that this doesnt happen. So as long as you were using the official Dropbox apps when you do Camera Uploads all files stay on the original device.

Dropbox only keeps 30 days of edits (for free, 180 for paid), so, unfortunately if the last edit before today is 15th July 2023 Dropbox wont have a previous version for you to restore :(

That is a beta version, it may be worth trying this one instead to see if that helps

A reinstall wont change any data as long as you do it as a reinstall and literally download from http://www.dropbox.com/downloading and run it on the device. In future what its worth doing if you ever need to huge changes like this is pause/close Dropbox, do the moving around and then restart it - that way it plays nicely.

Have you tried a forced CTRL+R on the page to see if you are viewing a cached version?

Selective Sync conflicts occur when you have told Dropbox to not sync a folder locally but then still use and run files in to that folder. Have you looked at this help article? It looks like you are using some application that is creating photos? My guess is that the folder its exporting to was actually turned off by…
