Not at the moment, and at some point its going to become a forced upgrade to do because thats what Apple are moving to within the OS's. The change is coming from them, not, Dropbox. At the moment if you want to stay as you are dont…

petermooreworld wrote:No, the program using Studio Cellos is not open. Bother!! I was, genuinely, banking on that one working. Ok, another suggestion - do you know where the file is (or what 'file' it is in as part of a Package)? I had a similar issue once and the database just seemed messed up. I fixed it by dragging that…

Hopefully somebody will see this on here from Dropbox tomorrow then when offices reopen.

You need to contact support via http://www.dropbox.com/support as they've removed your sharing rights for some reason (malware, spam or viruses are most likely - often false positives though).

Don Pedro wrote:Is there A bug in Dropbox..? No there isnt, sorry. How long ago did you last access or edit anything in that folder? What is http://www.dropbox.com/events showing? Can you restore anything in that folder? https://help.dropbox.com/delete-restore/recover-deleted-files-folders

What happens if you look at it at http://www.dropbox.com/home? Can you delete from there or see where it came from in "Previous Versions" ?

Is the program thats using Studio Cellos open? Dropbox doesn't sync files while they are open. Also.... petermooreworld wrote:repairing the hard links. This increased the amount of files to over 8000. A day later, nothing's changed, it's still at 4.6 GB, though, so it's still stuck. Not sure what you meant on this. Do you…

There isnt a way to do this. I've seen you've already created a Suggestion for it, however: Automatically delete a photo from phone after its been uploaded to dropbox | The Dropbox Community

It depends what you did... if you copied them to Dropbox so you have them now in two locations (one on Dropbox and one in say My Documents) you can safely delete the second one (My Docs) as there is no link between the two - you will get out of date files AND use twice the hard drive space. Then just work on the files…

Do you have enough storage space to access it? Often it will fail if you don't. So if you have an account with only 500mb of free space and the share is 600mb, for example, it wont let you accept it.

ASIFA wrote:It makes no sense that what one account is paying to host counts towards every other collaborator's usage It does - it costs Dropbox to host and serve those files and also support the users involved. Did you already have access to it, or, are you trying to access for the first time?

Annoyingly, no, there isn't. I've also discovered that if files hadn't fully uploaded before creating the transfer (i.e. you do it via Finder/Explorer while syncing) it wont sync everything.

Javier P.4 wrote:Can we see at least the number of downloads or a log with all the downloads (date, time) of that specific folder or file that was shared via a link? Dropbox does not have metrics like this I'm afraid. You can see some info at http://www.dropbox.com/events about when files were edited, or, if you've a…

Homer wrote:Is there a way to select everything in the camera roll to manually upload? No. If you want everything in your camera roll uploading I'd strongly suggest using Camera Upload - as that's what its designed and intended for. You can then always move them in to other folders after they've uploaded.

Totem Road wrote:Is there anything else I can try? Unfortunately not, once an account is in a locked state and you get the emails saying things will be removed that's permanent (as it says on the email). There is now no way, via Dropbox, to recover those files: https://help.dropbox.com/account-access/team-locked-state

Macros dont work if you open via the web, but, should if you open locally (i.e. via File Explorer). If they arent working via file explorer then the issue isn't Dropbox but something to do with Microsoft I'm afraid.

Can you navigate to the file via your Dropbox directory on your machine and open it that way?

Update: 8pm UK BST The status page says a fix has been implemented. --- There does currently seem to be a service issue impacting things based upon these posts. Hopefully it will be resolved soon. The Status Page is showing an identified issue so Dropbox are aware. Please do keep an eye on here and follow that for further…

jeffwsears wrote:Perhaps the share link takes the folder name at the time of original creation and doesn't change that Thats correct I'm afraid. Once a folder is created and links created it retains that original name. The same goes for Shared folders with edit rights. The only way to change it is either a new folder with…

Unfortunately its not recoverable then :( Dropbox changed how this worked a few years ago and now only 30 days of revisions are kept. So, if you edit a file on a Monday that hasn't been touched in 6 months and want to roll it back you cant as there isn't a previous version stored as the other version is 6 months old :( Any…

I agree with @"Rich" here. Ive never known simultaneous uploads be supported on the web. They are on a computer that you use Dropbox on (i.e. in to the folder on your machine) but not on web.

As long as you are using the same account on both you dont need to transfer them - it just happens. Thats the whole point of Dropbox - what is on one device is accessible on the other (note, however, they wont download to the iPad they'll just be on the app).
