Have you followed https://help.dropbox.com/installs/dropbox-passwords-discontinuation#How-do-I-export-my-Dropbox-Passwords-data ? Note that you need to be looking in the Passwords app itself (as in the Extension on Chrome NOT the normal Dropbox app).

You can use it totally without AI - I do quite happily partially as I'm not a Business User and partially as I am in the UK and so some doesnt work here (Dash, I'm looking at you!). So it is possible to just ignore it and everything still just works. Thankfully!

Have you looked at http://www.dropbox.com/events ? What is that showing? You can rewind to any point you like if you follow the article on it.

Hi @"natnat78" Are you wanting to download to your phone or a computer?

JolandaUK wrote:Could a Dropbox moderator confirm if this is known, and if there’s a fix or workaround? renatomichel wrote:If that is the case, they should advise new users so we don´t get frustrated I really dont know if it is the case, but, I suppose it is advised in a way because it isnt supported and has, in the past, caused issues for people where syncing stops suddenly.

Tracy Christenson wrote:I thought that Dropbox had a "rewind" function that could restore an account to previous point in time before a hack occurred. Does this function not apply to a case like this? It does, but, as the message says it can be overridden by the Permanent Delete command - which is what is very common in…

Dropbox can now do it: https://help.dropbox.com/organize/find-duplicate-files

Try clearing cache and cookies and see if that helps. If it doesnt try a different browser and if it still doesnt log a ticket at http://www.dropbox.com/support as it sounds like your sharing actvity has been blocked.

The only way that Dropbox can double bill is if you have two accounts - as has always been the case on here (i.e. sorry to be direct but user error). Nothing at all to do with the UK Government. Dropbox simply decided that part of the product wasnt viable and stopped supporting it. You go to the billing page to do it: https://www.dropbox.com/manage/billing

You need to tell us what the issue is @"Tatergolf" before we can help I'm afraid

Where is it not detecting it? Computer or a mobile? Have you tried restarting machine? Or on a mobile device to redetect the payment? What is your ticket number?

If you go to https://www.dropbox.com/account/plan does it show Basic? And using same browser window does https://www.dropbox.com/manage/billing?_tk=web_left_nav_bar show your receipt?

It shouldnt take that long. I wonder if the database is corrupted. To resolve that an unlink/relink works as it rebuilds it from scratch. BUT that does take time, so, do it when you have a spare few hours!

David Hwang wrote:How can I prevent Dropbox from reindexing on every restart? You cant I'm afraid. Have you tried clearing your cache and cookies @"yazmina" ? Somebody else posted a very similar issue a few days ago and that resolved it.

Deleted items dont use quota. However, the bottom four don't have a size, which usually means they are too large to calculate. Ignore Apps as that doesnt use quota if its the Dropbox designated one. So check Mac, Health Care and Temp files

As the image said you have 17gb of files on your account. Dropbox isnt misrepresenting the space - dont you think millions of people would complain if that was the case? Thats what is on your account, although probably not your machine. You can see everything at http://www.dropbox.com/home note it MAY NOT be on your…

This isnt a bug I'm afraid, your image really helps, thank you! Because your last edit was 20th Feb 2024 it is over the recovery window (30 days free, 180 days paid). Therefore no previous version is available. This is how previous versions work even though logical process would state that as you only edited it today there…
