Why is Dropbox Sign adding a white backbround to the transparent signature png I uploaded?

I've seen this issue posted before with NO reply from Dropbox. I uploaded a transparent signature png to Dropbox Sign.  Dropbox ADDS a white background and not only as a preview.  When I use the signature on the document, the white background is there on the PDF.

Do you use HelloSign or Dropbox to upload and sign your documents? Feel free to let me know the steps you follow on your end.

Please send me a screenshot, with all personal information redacted, so I can see a visual of how the PNG image looks before and after it is attached to the document.
