Dropbox Sign: Rotating signature boxes

Do you see the same behavior when you try from different browsers or private browsing/incognito?

I just tried in Chrome, Safari, and Duck Duck Go, and all serve up the Signature box vertically, and not horizontally. Again, the “ME-Sign Now” has the curved arrow so i can rotate the box. Can you check if your browsers are on the most updated version?

Also, do you confirm that trying from a private browsing/incognito window doesn't help?

If not, make sure to clear your browser's cache as well and then try again.

I have the same problem - the intractable upside down signature box, with no way to correct. I can't send this to a client - their signature would be vertical

Yeah, Sorry, I tried everything. it just didnt work. And this was with 3 different PDFs

I tried with Chrome, Duck Duck Go and Safari. all most recent versions. Sincerely….

All three, no go. Chrome in Incognito as well.

I went with a competitor. DBX was my first choice. Keep me abreast when this is corrected.

Same problem here. I just dropped my Acrobat subscription when I realized Dropbox has signature capabilities. Disappointed now that this simple bug in Dropbox is rendering it useless. I can't send a high-dollar proposal with sideways initial boxes. A fix for this would be great.

Beyond frustrated. Signature block comes in rotated to documents. If I rotate the whole document moves. Cannot get signature block to orientate correctly. Yes I've checked my browser, I've cleared cache, I've read so many folks with the same issue. This should be a quick user friendly option. I too gave up my Adobe, sadly it was functional. I prefer Dropbox but need this issue addressed as soon as possible. Anyone have fix to this problem

Will there be a fix to this soon? I left Adobe when I realized Dropbox offered this feature. Now I can't use it.

Hi all, I just wanted to mention that our team is looking to make some improvements on this, and for now you can:

If you're scanning documents, you can check if your scanner is assuming a landscape layout instead of portrait
If you're rotating the document before uploading it to Dropbox.com, you may need to 'print to PDF', depending on the program you use to edit.

have uploaded PDF, doesnt work in either format.

Need timeframe for fix. This is impacting my work. Dropbox may not be the solution for my business if there is not a solution

This issue is still ongoing,a nd it looks the the 'team' have been looking into it for quite a while now.

It used to work fine, and now its crap, no way can I send for signatures sideways. I've just convinced a client to subscribe to dropbox for this very reason.

I found the same problem, but only with SOME of the landscape pages. So I went with the flow and changed my labels on those pages so they would also be vertical and it would look presentable. It all looked good.

I was signing the document first (but not as a self-signer). After I had done this, my initials on those landscape pages with the rotation issue weren't where I had placed them, but half way across the page! Completely unacceptable so I had to scramble and Cancel the entire document to withdraw it from the signing process with our clients. Also very embarrassing - plus I still need to work out HOW to send this contract so it works.

This issue needs prioritising to be fixed.

Any result on this signature debacle?

It's a total mess. Only allows a signature to be added sideways (for goodness sake), then when the doc is sent, it appears horizontal on the top left corner of the document. Another user has said it appeared mid document.

URGENT attention required.

Do we have an update on this request @Dropbox? This is very inconvenient for me and my business. I am in the highest peak of tax season and I cannot send clients simple engagement letters to sign, meaning I cannot start tax-prep work until this is fixed. This needs to be a #1 priority for the team.

I'm having the same issue... four months after you flagged the issue with Dropbox. Incredibly frustrating and it's an absolute joke that this still hasn't been fixed.

Hi Megan, how is this not a P1? It seems that signature feature is very broken as it is now. Perhaps you could get a product manager to chime in? It's hard to believe that they would tolerate this if they were actually aware of how broken it is.

First time using Dropbox sign, the document needs a signature and a date I place them and after sending it for signature the received document for some reason has the signature and date moved to the right side of the page and is rotated 90° to the right. I can't even test it again and do something else to see what went wrong because I'm a free member and only have 1 signature left.
