Hi There is a difference - you need to be on a paid for Business account which has multiple licences. It isnt possible to link 2 personal accounts (even if they are paid). Also, I notice you said you use the same account as your boss. Please stop immediately it is against the terms of service of Dropbox and your boss is…

That possibly depends upon your company policies. However, have you looked at Dropbox Requests or Transfer? That may work better: https://help.dropbox.com/share/create-file-request https://help.dropbox.com/share/dropbox-transfer

Changing or deleting an email does not cause your Dropbox account to stop working. So, what does www.dropbox.com/events show on the other account? How long is it since you last logged in? If it was over 12 months your account/files will have been removed for inactivity
-
Thats not a Dropbox issue then - I'd suggest speaking to your ISP or the WiFi provider for assistance.
-
Is your machine saying its having intermittent internet issues?
-
The symbol means it is online only. You need to download it (usually trying to Open it will do that, but if its large right click on it and select 'Make available offline') And no searching is a restriction and known issue with the new Mac setup 😞 Unfortunately its not possible to go back

@"Rebeca es" wrote:I have purchased by mistake, how do I cancel and request a refund? Refunds are only issues where legally required. To see if one is possible you need to speak to Dropbox support direct: www.dropbox.com/support https://help.dropbox.com/plans/refund

Hi @"cooperp" You are right in your assumption that anything in your Dropbox uses your space, so, yes, if you need access to shared folders with read/write access then you need enough space to host and store that. There is no option to change that. If you dont need read/write access you can ask for a shared link instead.
-
Hi @"Valentitina" Thanks for the screen grabs 🙂 Is your son using a Windows machine with an S version of Windows? If so there is no folder structure like yours so the application works more like a mobile device instead of an actual syncing system
-
What exactly is the issue? If you do not have access to the email account then it isnt possible to regain access to a Dropbox if you do not know the password
-
Hi @"K1ty2R3ss452019" My guess is you actually have 2 accounts and have logged in to the wrong one. Check the receipt email is IDENTICAL to the one you logged in to. You can also look at www.dropbox.com/events to see what was uploaded and done on an account so if you log on to the one you think is Plus you should see the…

Hi @"RomanRomainCPA147" As its an issue with HelloFax you probably need to talk to them - it is them who develop the integrations etc. not Dropbox
-
If thats all that those links show then the photos were never added to this account unless they were in a Shared folder (which the other person 'owns' and can remove). Unfortunately there isnt going to be a way of recovering via Dropbox so you'll need to ask the photographer for help.
-
Where did they put them? What is www.dropbox.com/home and www.dropbox.com/events showing? How long ago is it since you last logged on to Dropbox - was it over 12 months?

@"Ignitedanceco" wrote: Thanks Walter, We received email requesting upload via link As submitted it came up been sent and they’d be noticed but nothing since and nowhere to check what was sent to that email address Hi @"Ignitedanceco" I'm afraid thats because no such feature exists. He needs to be editing the file in the actual Dropbox folder on his machine. So he needs to have the software running and update the shortcuts to the one inside Dropbox

Is there a dropbox assistance?…

They do save files for 30 days. But, not if you permanently delete them. If you'd just deleted and did nothing else you'd be able to recover, but, as you permanently deleted as soon as you do that it does exactly as it says - deletes permanently.
-
Hi @"plopat" You cannot I'm afraid. Once things are permanently deleted they are exactly that - permanently removed. The only way to recover now is from devices not sync'd to Dropbox or your own backups.
-
If it works on all other machines but not yours there is something on your machine that is doing this. Note that it is not Dropbox - Dropbox cannot do it, there is a process or something on your device which is causing the issue. You need to work out whats different between yours and the rest
-
You wont be able to - the update to your spreadsheet can only occur when the macros run and that needs the spreadsheet to be open and ran to do it. Dropbox doesnt have a way of running applications/files etc. it simply copies them around
-
Hi @"mahd groub" I'm afraid there is no way, at all, to do this via Dropbox - files that are permanently deleted are exactly that permanently deleted with no chance of recovery. The only way of getting these back is on a device that has not yet sync'd to Dropbox (employee laptop maybe?) OR your company backups.

What version of Dropbox is it? And poss a simple one, but did you try a reinstall of Dropbox? Its possible the data base is corrupt

Checked www.dropbox.com/backups ?

So who gave Dropbox your card / PayPal or App Store details? If it wasnt you the issue isnt with Dropbox its your card company - somebody has cloned it. You need to be contacting them not Dropbox. https://help.dropbox.com/plans/refund

@"Nick O" You need to reply to the open ticket via email
