Without a device already logged in, or, access to the email address it is not possible I'm afraid. https://help.dropbox.com/account-access/lost-email-access
-
Not aware of any feature that can do this, but I will move to the API forum incase they've a creative idea
-
Hi @"Spike Mullin" Have you looked to see if you have accidentally set up BackUps? www.dropbox.com/backups ?
-
Have you accidentally set up Backups? www.dropbox.com/backups ?
-
Its lost I'm afraid 😞 The only people who can reactivate / reissue links etc. are the people who own the files 😞
-
@"CP Chang" - this already exists for files 🙂 https://help.dropbox.com/create-upload/email-files-to-dropbox
-
Does www.dropbox.com/events not show them being uploaded at all? Are these files in shared folders?
-
@"endgamezs162" If you do that please double and triple check all uploads!
-
No, if it was removed for inactivity (remembering you get about 3 to 4 months of warnings via email before hand) then the data is permanently removed. Unfortunately the T&C's do state this - as do the warning emails 😞
-
Once an account is deactivated for lack of use I'm afraid its not possible to recover. If you've logged in and the account is empty then there is no data saved
-
Are you sure it isnt that your computer is saying you dont have enough space? Dropbox is just a regular folder on your device like any other - you can (after upload) make things online only but at least initially you need the space to upload
-
This is only possible if you have 2 accounts - one on iTunes and one on the website. You should be easily able to test it by adding a file to one and seeing if it syncs to the other (i.e. add a photo to the one on iTunes). Note that if you go to the App store you MAY see that the account is a diff one to what you've logged…
-
You need to contact support: www.dropbox.com/support. I'd also suggest making a backup of your data just in case the account is closed.
-
Sadly, there isnt. Dropbox will only (and rightfully if we are being honest here) talk to people who are authorised to discuss the account etc. They cannot talk to people who are not part of it morally or legally - after all you were removed and as far as they are concerned that is the end of it. You could have been…

Hi @"eladioroos78" As its in a business plan the only people who are get assistance on it are people in that plan - i.e. not you now. All support is accessed via www.dropbox.com/support BUT they will not help somebody who does not currently have access to the files. If the other users are having issues *they* need to ask…

Great, so recovery would be 180 days 🙂 Does the Events log go beyond that? Were the files in a Share? If they were and it was unshared that doesnt show up on the log
-
The Events log often only lists for 180 days if you are paid. Sometimes its longer, however, restored are limited to that - if you are paid at time of deletion. If things were removed before that (or 30 days for free users) they are not recoverable.

@"Joos" wrote:Thanks for your reply. If the old account is not the cause of his newer being full, his old account is no longer an issue. Remains the problem of his current account being full. The total amount of space of all the folders he can see when he chooses folders to synchronize stays far away from his maximum…

Have you set up Backups? www.dropbox.com/backups ?
-
What is the exact error?
-
They could if they all set up an account and you shared the directory with them via www.dropbox.com/share - either as read only or edit rights. Note, though, if you use edit rights they can delete them. If, however, they need to just see them you may be better off using a shared LINK instead which they click on and see…

I cannot get it to change on web 😞 (I'm in UK) so if anybody has any ideas this would be appreciated!!
-
The issue then is down to your ISP and the connection between the ISP / devices (firewall/routers etc.) because as you have shown the devices themselves are able to connect and work via a different internet system. I go back to my original comment then about making sure that its allowed on things like LittleSnitch etc and…
-
Yet the phone works if you connect via cellular?
-
You'll need to contact support: www.dropbox.com/support and ask for assistance as its an account related query including sending them the chat logs/email ref. of the reps conversation 🙂
-
Have you checked things like firewall and filtering software? LittleSnitch has also been known to do this
-
Whats the errors? What happens? We need a bit more info here.
-
The opening of the files is done by the device itself, so, if its not opening then there is an issue with the software on the computer - does the machine have something to open it? Also in terms of your bandwidth remember that each 20mb file will have some basic overheads so you wouldnt be able to do 1000 but possibly a…

You have 180 days @"Dr-PC" if you are a paying customer (from date you start paying), but, when did you upgrade? I'm wondering if its not showing as you upgraded after the issue appeared.
