But thats my point - if you upgrade your account from Plus to Professional you automatically get an extra TB of space and then you add another one on which makes 4TB 🙂
-
Hi @"Qualitat Corp L" I'm afraid you cannot. You may be able to go to Professional and then add on a 1TB upgrade if its available, but, not sure thats rolled out to everybody yet.

If you've not accessed it since 2016 its almost certainly been deleted due to inactivity @"lloydmc " 😞 https://help.dropbox.com/accounts-billing/settings-sign-in/email-about-inactive-account

Just to explain how this works.... Dropbox restores things quickly back to the website/cloud - however, it then takes time (sometimes) to restore back to connected devices as that part is linked to how quick peoples internet connection is 🙂
-
@"lizettejonker" it means that at some point you had linked two accounts together. You'd have not noticed it unless you actively logged in to both accounts via the website. If everything is working as is dont worry 🙂
-
You can use it absolutely fine for that purpose. The only thing to be aware of is things like the support levels are based upon it not being a business - so dont expect super quick replies AND dont expect all the bells and whistles of the other plans.
-
Where did you cancel the trial? If it was a mobile store it can take time to update and replicate through.
-
@"davebeller" The simple point here is that they are not comparable - Backup is exactly that. It takes a snapshot of files and folders at set times and backs them up. You cannot then 'do things' with them like you can on normal plans (i.e. you cannot get links, edit, move them around etc.). They become almost an 'image'…

Hi @"menar" Unfortunately without access to either the device the code goes to, the emergency codes OR a device already logged in there is no way at all of getting the account back.
-
Yes they should see exactly what you see @"ID 1540981"
-
They'd be able to click in to the folder like you can do on your own deleted files and folders and see names etc. before then restoring. One thing you could try is to see if it will let you permanently delete it: https://help.dropbox.com/files-folders/restore-delete/deleted-files. However, it is possible that the account…

Hi @"ID 1540981" Does it appear at www.dropbox.com/events? If so, yes, in theory they could as they could log in as you/see your files etc., however, they'd actively need to do that - it wouldnt be obvious to them otherwise i.e. it wont appear on any of their default pages
-
@"tess e" - you have approved it. There are multiple confirmations you need to go through to say it is going to do it. However, if you are anything like me then you'll often just click 'ok' and 'next'..... I was also burnt on this one!
-
Are you on a Mac by any chance? Mac's create 0 byte files which are then populated with data as they are 'saved'. It sounds like Dropbox has saved the 0byte file that was created at the start of the save but then its not sync'd correctly due to the error given - which my guess is because Dropbox then locked that file while…

Without access to the email I'm afraid you will not be able to - as you need that to create a new password if needed, and at a minimum know what the username is. Would anybody else still be a member of that Team who could re-share it to you at a new address?
-
😞 it was good while it lasted. @"clientreleases" - changelogs have gone again 😞
-
As the issue is with GoodSync thats something you need to be asking them - from reading the message/error it sounds like an issue in the software with handling large uploads and keeping the connection open and active.
-
Hi @"akash_bescanada" I'm almost certain that once the account is deleted all links etc. are also removed. The only thing you could try is to RESTORE the account from your Admin control panel - not set up a new one RESTORE. If you do not have that option or doing so does not work there is no way, sorry, to recreate the…
-
Yes, it needs to be installed and used upon a unique computer.
-
Oh @"clientreleases" the change log was going so well 😞
-
Hi @"jdburke89" Yes you will 🙂 You may notice that syncing stops after the lapse from Google when your account downgrades, but, it will restart as soon as you then upgrade again via Dropbox 🙂
-
Hi @"DJ R4F4" You need to ask the person on Instagram for them to create a new link for you or reshare it. There is no other way to get the file I'm afraid. Support cannot help.
-
Hi @"Frustrated15" Does www.dropbox.com/account/plan show you as being under storage? What is the exact error message you get?
-
Accounts are only removed after 12 months of inactivity and after lots of warning emails to say they are going to do so - it doesnt just happen.
-
YAYAYAY!!!
-
Are they SmartSync'd ? If so you need to download them locally first and then open them.
-
Hi @"Dhwestfield" You almost certainly need to be using the desktop versions of Excel on your machines for this to work. However what I would say is that the other issue you MAY run in to is that if in Excel the links are not configured as relative (if thats possible) they wont work and update unless every single user has…

Dropbox ended the support of Free Teams on the 31st of March - there has been lots of emails and comms sent out about this, however, you can get more info at https://help.dropbox.com/teams-admins/team-member/free-teams-overview
-
Its not coincidence no, however, yes they are trying to move people to paid plans - after all realistically @"w0000992" if enough people dont pay for the services then it closes for everybody.
-
It is showing as a Dropbox issue but that error is showing as an error in the Dropbox link which is what they write in to their own software - so they basically use some code from here to connect the systems together. It sounds like there is an issue in that.
