@"dimitra vidinioti" EVH is a very, very old feature called 'Extended Version History' (also known as Pack-Rat) which at the time allowed unlimited recovery of files and documents (and the became 365 days). However, its not been available to purchase or use for many years and was an add on to paid plans. If you dont…

Hi @"Gavin F" Shared folders use up the quota of everybody within it - so if you want to upload 5gb of files to a shared folder you need to have that much space in your account for it.
-
You need to follow https://help.dropbox.com/accounts-billing/multiple-accounts/link-unlink-two-accounts from one of the accounts. Notably the 'Link Your Accounts' space.
-
There is no tool to access this I'm afraid its an encrypted part of the Dropbox system and that is it.
-
Hi @"Julia Jager" as the issue is with GoodNotes have you asked them for help? Or even simply made sure you are using the most recent version of the software
-
You need to move the files/folders out of the Dropbox directory if you do not want them to sync 🙂
-
Sadly I dont think so 😞 I have a bug report with them for an issue with shared folders that they've acknowledged nearly a year ago and said 'they have no plans to fix'. Dropbox support is, sadly, very hit/miss and at best poor 😞
-
Hi @"XMoDiiFy " That is how Dropbox works. Shared folders use up the space of everybody in the share.
-
There is! Have a look at https://www.dropbox.com/photos BUT it may not display them next to each other to see duplicates easily
-
Hi @"Karen Huguley" I'm afraid Dropbox has no such function to find and remove duplicates. Thats something you do need to do manually unfortunately. Same as if sync'ing on a device is paused you need to restart it and Dropbox will automatically update the changes, however, that will just be to how they are on your device -…

Hi @"Aviator12" I'm afraid as its Swann's software that is having issues (i.e. your Dropbox is working / you have space / it is connected) you need to speak to Swann for assistance.
-
@"YogY" Nobody has any clue I'm afraid - there is (as always) total radio silence from Dropbox on this
-
Hi @"retiredbutstillworking" Unfortunately you've assumed wrong. Shared folders use up the quota of everybody inside the folder so if you are a member of it you also need to have enough space to access it
-
That means, as the error says, you have an account already with that email. So, you need to log in to it and either change the email on that account or delete it. To get a log in password go to www.dropbox.com/forgot and ask for a password reset.
-
Hi @"exx" You need to manually set the online only option on each device. There is no way of doing this centrally.
-
Hi @"d_d0g" Dropbox doesnt delete things on its own, no, it also doesnt even delete if you are over quota. Can you look at www.dropbox.com/events and see what it shows about those files?
-
Have you set the files to Smart Sync so they are not on your device @"areedREVEL" ?
-
You'll need to contact Dropbox Support directly. Visit the Support page while you're NOT signed in to a Dropbox account, including these forums, and you'll see an option for Billing issues. It's best to use an Incognito or Private browsing session to make sure you're not signed in. *…
-
Yes that is normal behaviour I'm afraid - Dropbox does not notify you of every change in a shared folder as there are safeguards in place for when people delete things like this (i.e. the other person is told the first time they delete things in a share it deletes for everybody and do they want to continue).
-
Hi Chloe I'm afraid if the account the links were attached to has been closed the files are permanently removed. There is no way, at all, to recover them 😞
-
Dropbox does tell you this @"Jerry H.14" - it gives a pop up telling you it will remove it from all devices etc. HOWEVER it only appears once if you tell it not to appear again.
-
You can follow https://help.dropbox.com/accounts-billing/settings-sign-in/change-email to change emails. But you'll need a third one to swap in while you move them around 🙂
-
You cannot move things between accounts I'm afraid - they are completely standalone. All you can do is move the email addresses around so that the account you have upgraded is the one with your Business email

My guess is you'll be in big trouble at work if you circumvent their security systems. So, I'd suggest speaking to them about it instead.
-
How are you uploading it? If its via the desktop client it doesnt restart, it goes from the last 4mb block although the upload counter will reset but will show the new upload pending total

How did you upgrade? Have you checked it was the correct account (i.e. if you add a file to the upgraded device does it appear on other)
-
Hi @"DonSee" No, sorry, that wont work - extended recovery is only available if you had it at the time of deletion. What does www.dropbox.com/events show? Does that show the deletions?
-
Hi @"ayimazahra" * You can check who has access to what folders under the Admin panel of a Business account * There is no such folder as 'Quality' unless you actively create one * Version monitoring is not a feature Dropbox has - so there is not a way within Dropbox to do that except assuming that everybody in a share is…
