Are you on a Mac by any chance? Mac's create 0 byte files which are then populated with data as they are 'saved'. It sounds like Dropbox has saved the 0byte file that was created at the start of the save but then its not sync'd correctly due to the error given - which my guess is because Dropbox then locked that file while…

Without access to the email I'm afraid you will not be able to - as you need that to create a new password if needed, and at a minimum know what the username is. Would anybody else still be a member of that Team who could re-share it to you at a new address?
-
😞 it was good while it lasted. @"clientreleases" - changelogs have gone again 😞
-
As the issue is with GoodSync thats something you need to be asking them - from reading the message/error it sounds like an issue in the software with handling large uploads and keeping the connection open and active.
-
Hi @"akash_bescanada" I'm almost certain that once the account is deleted all links etc. are also removed. The only thing you could try is to RESTORE the account from your Admin control panel - not set up a new one RESTORE. If you do not have that option or doing so does not work there is no way, sorry, to recreate the…
-
Yes, it needs to be installed and used upon a unique computer.
-
Oh @"clientreleases" the change log was going so well 😞
-
Hi @"jdburke89" Yes you will 🙂 You may notice that syncing stops after the lapse from Google when your account downgrades, but, it will restart as soon as you then upgrade again via Dropbox 🙂
-
Hi @"DJ R4F4" You need to ask the person on Instagram for them to create a new link for you or reshare it. There is no other way to get the file I'm afraid. Support cannot help.
-
Hi @"Frustrated15" Does www.dropbox.com/account/plan show you as being under storage? What is the exact error message you get?
-
Accounts are only removed after 12 months of inactivity and after lots of warning emails to say they are going to do so - it doesnt just happen.
-
YAYAYAY!!!
-
Are they SmartSync'd ? If so you need to download them locally first and then open them.
-
Hi @"Dhwestfield" You almost certainly need to be using the desktop versions of Excel on your machines for this to work. However what I would say is that the other issue you MAY run in to is that if in Excel the links are not configured as relative (if thats possible) they wont work and update unless every single user has…

Dropbox ended the support of Free Teams on the 31st of March - there has been lots of emails and comms sent out about this, however, you can get more info at https://help.dropbox.com/teams-admins/team-member/free-teams-overview
-
Its not coincidence no, however, yes they are trying to move people to paid plans - after all realistically @"w0000992" if enough people dont pay for the services then it closes for everybody.
-
It is showing as a Dropbox issue but that error is showing as an error in the Dropbox link which is what they write in to their own software - so they basically use some code from here to connect the systems together. It sounds like there is an issue in that.
-
Hi @"as444" If the one on your computer is the little used one I suggest logging out of Dropbox on your machine, moving all the files to your desktop and deleting the 'Dropbox' folder. Reinstall Dropbox from www.dropbox.com/downloading and log in to the OTHER account. That will download everything from that one for you.…
-
You need to ask DataVault I'm afraid - it sounds like an issue with their integration.
-
Hi @"VicNic" Lots of messages and emails have gone out about this - Dropbox no longer supports linking of accounts on one computer unless one of the accounts is a paid business one. You can see info https://help.dropbox.com/teams-admins/team-member/free-teams-overview. The ONLY way to now link is to have a paid for…
-
Hey @"stuartpriceuk" Unfortunately the only way to do this is let the Apple store subscription lapse (i.e. tell Apple to not renew it) and wait for Dropbox to downgrade the account. THEN you can upgrade via the website. Note your data etc. is safe it just may stop syncing for a short time while you are over quota (in…
-
So she can see a file uploaded on the desktop when she looks on web?
-
Unfortunately that is the only way - all upgrades etc. are only active from time of purchase.
-
Is she definitely using the same email on both accounts (i.e. the one on computer and browser?). Test it simply by adding a file to the root of \Dropbox on the computer. It should appear when she goes to the website.
-
@"catr" unless you are on a business plan (i.e. that includes multiple paid for licences) you are not eligible to do this.
-
Its a known issue with 12.3.x I'm afraid as Apple have changed how files are handled. Dropbox is aware and working on it.
-
Are you using SmartSync? If so download them first and then they will open 🙂
-
@"noclueV" You cannot I'm afraid unless one is a paid BUSINESS account (ie. multiple licences) https://help.dropbox.com/teams-admins/team-member/free-teams-overview
-
The only way to link them now, I'm afraid, is for one to be on a paid Business plan (i.e. with multi user licences). https://help.dropbox.com/teams-admins/team-member/free-teams-overview

Hi @"Hannah C" Really am pleased to see them back - they've been a LONG time coming! Just a shame to see that it seems to have been a one off thing, however, as they havent appeared on other posts: https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Dropbox-desktop-client-builds/Beta-Build-147-3-4761/td-p/590504
